Summary 

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and installing refrigeration equipment. Technicians in this position will also perform preventive maintenance as well as respond to emergency service calls on all types of refrigeration equipment. 

Essential Functions

Complete assigned jobs: 

• Work with service dispatchers to complete jobs as directed. 
• Must have a basic tool set to carry on all calls
• Clock in and out on Service Titan daily  
• Close Service Titan tickets each day.
• Inspecting refrigeration systems, observing their operations, and reading gauges and instruments to determine the refrigeration system’s functionality
• Testing components and circuits of refrigeration systems for faults using electrical and mechanical testing tools
• Repairing or replacing defective parts in refrigeration systems such as motors, thermostats, and switches
• Installing new refrigeration systems by assembling and positioning components, piping, and connecting electrical wiring
• Performing regular maintenance on refrigeration systems, including cleaning and replacing components as needed
• Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and protocols when handling refrigerants and other potentially hazardous materials
• Diagnosing and fixing problems with refrigeration systems, including leaks, blockages, or mechanical defects
• Providing advice to customers on energy efficiency and the usage of refrigeration systems
• Add all parts and materials used on the job to Service Titan
• Ability to maintain vehicle inventory/parts

• Work as a team to complete jobs as directed.

• Add all parts and materials used on the job to Service Titan.
• Complete time sheet daily and ensure they are ready to be processed by 8am each Monday.
• Install fountain machine equipment to the standards of our customers and to Best Beverage Service’s standards

Develop into the top lead installer:

• Work to learn and understand what it takes to become a top lead installer.
• Understand what the Best Beverage standard is and work to exceed it daily. 
• Develop #2 installers to become lead installers.
• Provide feedback to team members and supervisor.
• Take advantage of training opportunities whether in field, in classroom or online.
